If you have a complaint with your child's school, you should complete the school’s formal complaints procedure in the first instance.

How I can help:

  • I regularly visit local schools and raise the concerns of staff, parents and students with the Department for Education.
  • I can support your child with their SEND requirements and liaise with the relevant authorities.

What I can't do:

  • I can't demand that your child is placed in a certain school. School admissions are the responsibility of the local council.
  • I can't interfere in a school’s disciplinary process.
  • I can't represent you in legal proceedings.
